I’ve finally got my hands on this lovely book, Habitually Chic: Creativity at Work.  It’s been on my to-do list and I can now have the pleasure of reading this book.  I often visit Heather Clawson’s blog, it’s a wonderful inspiration board and it’s so nice to see fellow bloggers...

{Coveted} Bling Bling… Gold Glassware

My gold obsession continues with these gold glasses from C.Wonder, my favorite new online décor shopping destination… it has amazing products.  These glasses add just the right touch of Hollywood Regency glamour.  Your beverages deserve to be draped in gold.  These are definitely on my wish list. Well it’s finally here, the long-awaited Pantone color for 2013 is Emerald 17-5641.  I must say I’m not usually keen on green but this color has a royal flair to it that I don’t mind.  It’s the perfect color to add impact to you decor that’s for sure.

Their press release describes this color beautifully:

Most often associated with brilliant, precious gemstones, the perception of Emerald is sophisticated and luxurious. Since antiquity, this luminous, magnificent hue has been the color of beauty and new life in many cultures and religions. It’s also the color of growth, renewal and prosperity – no other color conveys regeneration more than green. For centuries, many countries have chosen green to represent healing and unity.

Let’s begin with art, I found these pieces from Art.com, it’s perfect for the fashion enthusiasts.

I found this on Pinterest, it’s just too pretty not to mention.

Here is a way to add emerald green to your decor by pillows and curtains (I love the curtains).

If you like the curtains, I found something similar at Urban Outfitters.

Here are some of my favorite emerald green pillow finds from Zinc Door

Why not add green with envy to your bathroom with this romantic and chic shower curtain from Urban Outfitters.  This is the perfect way to add a spike of color… and it’s not permanent, when you want to change to your next favorite color, it’s a quick, easy and an affordable change.

Well that’s it for now, a little treat to start your next design project.  I’m sure more finds will be posted as I discover them.

Enjoy.

I love your take that green is not your usual but this color has some class and vibrance that cannot be denied. Updating your bathroom with a quick and easy shower curtain to bring color and depth was a great suggestion! Thank you for the great post.
