Ginnifer Goodwin – LA Home Featured in Elle Magazine

I don’t know about you but I think Ginnifer Goodwin is absolutely adorable.  She is currently living a true-life fairytale playing Snow White on ABC’s Once Upon a Time.  It’s a wonderful show, I watched all last season and need to start watching this season’s episodes that are piling up on my PVR.  Also an extra treat for me, the show is filmed locally, it’s always nice to see familiar surroundings on TV.  I especially love Ginnifer Goodwin in Something Borrowed the movie (which I’m now currently reading the novel) and of course in the romantic comedy He’s Just Not that Into You.

Her home will be featured in the February 2013 issue of Elle magazine.  Goodwin bought the house in 2007 from Busy Philipps, and previous tenants include Rachel Bilson and Rose McGowan… pretty neat I think.  With the help of  Amy Kehoe of design firm Nickey Kehoe finding just the right tone to make the home warm and cozy sprinkled with personal touches all over.

“Just like in fashion, it’s all about balance,” says Goodwin. “I pick one thing to feature. That’s translated to the house, like in the kitchen table’s bright yellow pop.”

It surprised me the different layers and pops of unexpected color.  I especially like the 2nd photo with Ginnifer sitting on an ottoman surround by black and white portraits.  Have a read-through the Elle magazine article, it gives a witty insight to her decorating personality.
