Welcome to luxxury livving… my decorating blog. I luv everything about home décor! There are so many options available to us these days and so many amazing finds. From the ultra chic to eco-modern. From every price range and every type of retailer, there are so many options today. I enjoy discovering new designs, designers, products and beautiful photos detailing a designers take on home décor, from the novice to the pro.
If anyone knows me, I collect magazines and lots of them. My favorite magazines are Domino (even though it’s no longer available, I reference them from time to time), Living Etc (UK), Vogue Australia, Elle Decor (UK) Elle Decor (US), Metropolitan Home and my latest find, Western Interiors and Design. I can’t wait till the latest issues are ready to purchase and read page by page to drink in the latest in design and home décor styles and trends.
My favorite style of décor is modern. But I do tend to like the in between or off-beat designs too. I’m so glad in this day and age, you can mix and match different design styles. You can personalize your home to what makes you, you. You can mix modern with a bit of glam, or be eclectic all together. I personally have more modern décor in my own home, but with the odd item here and there that are different or unusual.
One of my favorite things to do is find new websites and décor blogs and discover those ever-so-clever items… kind of walking off the beaten path (or whatever the saying is) and come across new objects of desire for your home and mine. There are so many talented designers and amazing products out there and so many wonderful blogs highlighting them, the information is wonderfully overwhelming and I will be posting my finds along the way. In this day and age, the Internet brings those coveted items to you easily with the quick click of a shopping cart, personally I don’t know what I would do without these possibilities.
A little about me. I have a luv for so many things. Home décor, architecture, art, fashion, jewellery, make-up, technology, becoming more environmentally conscious … and the list goes on. I’ve never really been able to find just one thing to stick to, I like to get my hands into multiple ventures.
