Pantone Color of the Year: Emerald Green
Well it’s finally here, the long-awaited Pantone color for 2013 is Emerald 17-5641. I must say I’m not usually keen on green but this color has a royal flair to it that I don’t mind. It’s the perfect color to add impact to you decor that’s for sure.
Their press release describes this color beautifully:
Most often associated with brilliant, precious gemstones, the perception of Emerald is sophisticated and luxurious. Since antiquity, this luminous, magnificent hue has been the color of beauty and new life in many cultures and religions. It’s also the color of growth, renewal and prosperity – no other color conveys regeneration more than green. For centuries, many countries have chosen green to represent healing and unity.
Let’s begin with art, I found these pieces from Art.com, it’s perfect for the fashion enthusiasts.
I found this on Pinterest, it’s just too pretty not to mention.

Bath Time at Anthropologie
I so wish we had an Anthropologie store in Vancouver, I think I would visit frequently. Their style is so different than any other store out there. I’ll check out their website every once in a while to see their latest creations and they never disappoint. Here are my favorite finds in their bath department. If you haven’t noticed, traditional style seems to be on trend this season. I typically enjoy more modern decor, but I’m quite liking these picks as they can be sprinkled in with modern design.
