Artecnica Phrena Pendant Lamp
Oh my, I think I’ve just found the most gorgeous pendant lamp! It reminds me of a lotus blossom or something like that. It’s called the Artecnica Phrena Pendant Lamp and I think this is the perfect way to add drama to a dining room or any room really. I can also imagine this in a the entrance hallway, a perfect dramatic invitation as you enter your home.

I found a a nice blog post from Love Maegan with images showing the process putting the lamp together and the end product.
Here is the product description:
Upon manipulation this perfectly flat light fixture transforms into a beautiful 3-D shade. Created from the “simplicity of opening a book, the pages of this light work together to create perfect symmetry.” Artecnica’s use of white tyvek once again creates a glow and adds warmth to any environment. Can be configured for up-lighting or down-lighting distribution. Pendant lamp Tyvek® White coated steel interior frame Dimensions: 21″ dia x 12″ H Comes with a white cord kit and plug.

Liberty of London and Target
So exciting! I was watching TV the other day and saw the ad for the new Liberty of London collection coming to Target starting March 14th! I so wish we had Target in Canada, but that’s okay, living in Vancouver, we are very close to the US border, I think a trip is definitely in order.
Here is the commercial to give you a sneak peak at the lovely and amazing pattered products that will be available:
Here are some photos I found from: Apartment Therapy (check out their link, they have more photos).

The Glamorous Tulip Lamp
I was perusing the Velocity Art And Designwebsite and found these absolutely gorgeous lamps. I find the lines and the simple colors of gold and black are a glamorous version of what would be in a home from the 1950′s. I especially like the simplicity of the shape and can imagine what the light would look like shining through… a definite favorite find.
