I so look forward to new magazine issues coming out, but I couldn’t wait to check out the latest from Vogue Living Australia for their Jan-Feb 2010 issue.  Below is the cover and a sneak peak page of the inside.  I’m so loving this type of art.  I’ve been wanting to start painting again and this is perfect inspiration… maybe this will be a new year’s resolution!

In This Issue

This issue explores the Australian diaspora with a view into the lives of some creative Australians who’ve made their homes abroad – from moody metallics in hair stylist David Mallett’s Paris home and salon, to the light, open interior of Sydney floral designer Mariella Ienna’s 17th-century Sicilian palazzo, we see how the Australian sensibility translates. Also in this issue, fashion designer Nicola Finetti opens the doors to his eclectic Sydney apartment, and we feature an indepth report on the groundbreakers from London’s recent 2009 Design Festival.

I’m so excited to discover another new design magazine Lonny Magazine perusing The Cultivated Home, especially since the closing of our favorite magazine, Domino.  Although it’s not meant to replace Domino, it sure serves up a good fix.  It’s meant to be an online magazine, which I find interesting these days how the market has changed so much, but still, it’s nice to see new adventures and amazing creativity, all in one place (the interest) for all of us to indulge in.

Well today I finally found in my bookstore today the Vogue Living Australia Collector’s edition for their May-June 2009 Issue. Here are the 4 cover options, gorgeous! I picked the bottom left (yellow) cover. They are so beautiful they could be framed!
