I keep seeing this commercial on TV and just luv the imagery and music track they used, I finally found out who the song is from, it’s from Ursula 1000 – Kinda Kinky and called Riviera Rendezvous.

If you’re a fan of Gossip Girl (I sure am), then you’ll be happy to hear Leighton Meester just released her new single “Somebody to Love” featuring Robin Thicke.  It’s not bad actually, I’ll be interested to hear what the rest of her album sounds like.

According to the Just Jared website (which also includes the song lyrics), Leighton told Ryan Seacrest:

“the song is definitely about what’s going on in my life and I think anybody can relate. You’re crazy, you’re busy, you’re young and you’re running around and it’s really hard to find somebody to love. People love you but you don’t really love them.”

What do you think?  Her website www.leightonmeestermusic.com mentions her album release is soon, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the rest of her music sounds like when it drops.

Well isn’t this just the most adorable group.  I luv their music, I first discovered them from the theme song for the TV show Priviledged here.  I came home early today, clicked on the TV and there they were on the Ellen show.  I’ve added the video clip below , capture the cutness that is The Bird and The Bee singing their new single “Love Letter to Japan”.  There new album Ray Guns Are Not Just The Future
is now available.
